A land of diverse cultures, India is the home to the lush green hill stations, beautiful waterfalls, exotic backdrops, spectacular beaches, attractive temples, and historical places, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and wildlife sanctuaries that indulge a traveler to come across different within one nation. During the tour, you visit popular destinations of this state – Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur along with the sightseeing of another important destination of the country- Delhi and Agra with stopover at Fatehpur Sikri and Ranakpur Jain temples and Abhaneri.

 

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN DELHI

Namaste and Welcome to India!
Upon your arrival in Delhi, our representative will greet you at Delhi International Airport and transfer you to your Hotel. Check in and Rest of the day is at your leisure and relaxation. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

 

DAY 02: DELHI SIGHTSEEING

Good Morning Good Morning! After breakfast you will be going for a full day sightseeing tour of the capital city of India starting with old Delhi founded as Shahjahanabad. You will visit the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest and most splendid mosque in India, both built by Emperor Shah Jahan, Rajghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. Post lunch the sightseeing continues to explore the best tourist attractions of New Delhi including a drive past through the Indian President’s House (Rashtrapati Bhawan) towards India gate built to honour and pay a tribute to the Indian soldiers, then visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar; built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty and the beautiful Lotus Temple. In the evening take a cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling and colourful bazaar of Chandani Chowk for shopping or to taste some tantalizing North Indian cuisines. Afterwards return to the hotel for a pleasant overnight stay.

 

DAY 03: DELHI – AGRA AND AGRA SIGHTSEEING

Have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Agra. On the way To Agra stop over at Sikandra to see the Tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar, a marvelous mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar, spectacularly designed structure of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Check in to your hotel and relax for some time. Leave and visit the grand Agra Fort (UNESCO world heritage site located on the banks of the Yamuna River), Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). At sunset, soothe your eyes with one of the most amazing architecture marvels – Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 04: AGRA – JAIPUR VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI

After breakfast check out the hotel and start your sightseeing tour of Mandawa- a small town situated in the heart of Shekhawati region. Mandawa is well-known for its Havelies, fort palaces and fresco art. Enjoy a walk around the village and see how the clay potteries are made by Indian potters. The most important places to see are Chokhani, Ladia, Binsidhar Newatia, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. Another haveli, the Binsidhar Newatia Haveli, is known for its curious paintings. After visit proceed towards Bikaner. Enroute halt at to Deshnok, a small village in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan. Famous as a pilgrimage place it is known for housing the very unique Hindu temple “Karni Mata Temple” or the Rat Temple where rats are considered to be sacred. This tiny village comes to life during the Karni Mata Fair which is celebrated twice a year. Thousands of devotee’s visits Deshnok during this fair and the entire village is bustling with activities and tourists. Afterwards continue to drive Bikaner, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.

DAY 05: JAIPUR CITY TOUR

Today morning after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to the splendid Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, built in the 15th Century by Rajput King Man Singh. Visit Jal Mahal or water palace that is situated in the midst of the beautiful Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur City. Continue your sightseeing by visiting the regal City Palace – present residence of the royal family of Jaipur, the palace is a miraculous portrayal of the real Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Then visit the incredible Jantar Mantar which was innovated and constructed by Jaipur King Swai Jai Singh. Amongst the 5 observatories built by him, Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is one of them. Later visit the splendid Hawa Mahal, also known ‘Palace of Winds’ was built with a concept for the woman of royal families to speculate the royal ceremonies and festivals being hidden from the public eyes. After sightseeing have a pleasant night stay at your Hotel.

 

DAY 06: JAIPUR – JODHPUR

On the morning of the 6th day, hit the road to go to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check in at your pre-booked hotel. The day is free for leisure activities where you can stroll around the market, tasting some Rajasthani delicacies and experiencing the daily life of the locals. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 07: JODHPUR SIGHTSEEING

Today, after breakfast get ready to visit the popular attractions of Jodhpur. The first visit is the Mehrangarh fort – situated 400 feet above the city, it is one of the largest forts of India. The next visit of the day is Jaswant Thada –an architectural marvel made up of white marble and later, a group of royal cenotaphs. Have lunch at a palace hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure or you can go for exploring the colorful markets of Jodhpur for shopping. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

 

DAY 07: JODHPUR – RANAKPUR – UDAIPUR

After breakfast, start driving towards Udaipur. On the way, you halt at the Ranakpur temples – a well-known Jain pilgrimage center, also referred to as one of the 7 wonders of India. Known as Chaturmukh group of temples, they are every year visited by devotees in large number. Once you reach Udaipur, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Spend the day at leisure in doing the activities of your interest. Stay overnight.

 

DAY 08: UDAIPUR SIGHTSEENING

Post breakfast, the day is fixed for sightseeing. The list of visits of the day include City Palace- a palace complex constructed by Maharaja Udai Sing amidst Lake Pichola, Jagdish Temple- earlier known as the temple of Jagannath Rai that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Fateh Sagar Lake- an artificial lake known as the pride of Udaipur, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari –the courtyard of Queen’s friends and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir – a famous museum housing an amazing collection of Rajasthan’s folk articles. Stay overnight.

 

DAY 09: UDAIPUR – PUSHKAR

After breakfast leave towards the holy town of Pushkar. Pushkar – one of the sacred places for Hindus having more than 400 temples and the most important World Famous only one temple is Brahma Temple (The creator God). Upon arrival check into the hotel designated hotel. Later enjoy sightseeing tour of Pushkar visit Brahma Temple – devoted to Lord Brahma is the main appeal of Pushkar – Pushkar Lake and Hindu temples. Also enjoy sightseeing tour of Ajmer well-known for Dargarh of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Overnight stay at Pushkar.

 

DAY 10: DEPARTURE TO DELHI

Have your morning breakfast and drive back to Delhi. Reaching Delhi you will be transferred to Delhi airport for departure. Hope you return with an extra baggage – a bag full of unforgettable memories.
