It takes away all the ‘touristy’ factors from Rajasthan and gives you glimpses of Incredible India at its raw best. Through this tour package you will explore some popular as well as some of the offbeat trails of Rajasthan.

 

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN DELHI

Namaste and Welcome to India!
Upon your arrival in Delhi, our representative will greet you at Delhi International Airport and transfer you to your Hotel. Check in and Rest of the day is at your leisure and relaxation. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

 

DAY 02: DELHI SIGHTSEEING

Good Morning! After breakfast you will be going for a full day sightseeing tour of the capital city of India starting with the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest and most splendid mosque in India, both built by Emperor Shah Jahan, Rajghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. Post lunch the sightseeing continues to explore the best tourist attractions of New Delhi including a drive past through the Indian President’s House (Rashtrapati Bhawan) towards India gate built to honour and pay a tribute to the Indian soldiers, then visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar; built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty and the beautiful Lotus Temple. In the evening take a cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling and colourful bazaar of Chandani Chowk for shopping or to taste some tantalizing North Indian cuisines. Afterwards return to the hotel for a pleasant overnight stay.

 

DAY 03: DELHI-AGRA AND AGRA SIGHTSEEING

Have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Agra. Check in to your hotel and relax for some time. Leave and visit the grand Agra Fort (UNESCO world heritage site located on the banks of the Yamuna River), Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). At sunset, soothe your eyes with one of the most amazing architecture marvels – Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 04: AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI- SAMODE

After breakfast drive towards Samode. (6 to 7 hours). Enroute make a halt at Fatehpur Sikri – the extraordinary city built by Akbar the Great, deserted 14 years later, but which, during its brief span, exceeded London in both grandeur and population. After the visit continue driving towards the Samode Palace which is nestled picturesquely amidst rugged hills. Samode Palace is one of india’s most charming hotels. It offers a quiet, elegant & luxurious atmosphere. Each room is exclusive and reflects an old world charm. The interior features a magnificent hand painted Darbar Hall and the breathtaking Sheesh Mahal.

DAY 05: SAMODE – JAIPUR

After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Visit Amber Fort – the ancient capital of the Rajput Empire reaching the fort on elephant back. It is a deserted palace surrounded by majestic ramparts. The magnificent public and private rooms show evidence of the splendor of the rulers of 16th & 17th century Rajasthan. Afternoon, tour of Pink City – driving past the Jal Mahal and visiting the imposing City Palace now a museum, the ancient Observatory, the Palace of Winds and the picturesque bazaars of the Pink City.

DAY 06: JAIPUR – BARLI

After breakfast the day is at leisure to visit the markets of the city. Later check out and drive towards Barli to one of Rajasthan’s newest heritage properties, now a luxurious hotel. A luxury heritage hotel with its own distinctive character, Fort Barli revives the gracious lifestyles of India’s legendary Rajput princes. Day 07: BARLI – CHHATRASAGAR

After breakfast, visit the village of Barli / Bullock Cart ride in the village. Later drive to Chhatrasagar
(3 Hrs). This is the highlight of any tour to Rajasthan. The deluxe camp is situated on the banks of a huge man-made reservoir. Relax in the tastefully designed and well-appointed tented accommodation. Each tent has an attached bath with hot and cold water, and its own private sit out overlooking the lake.

DAY 08: CHHATRASAGAR

After breakfast, walk down to the surrounding villages and witness village life at its natural best. Visit their nearby palace for a cup of tea or just wander around and bird watch.

DAY 09: CHHATRASAGAR – JAISALMER

After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer (6 ½ hrs.) . Jaisalmer, a tiny jewel in the heart of the Thar Desert, once the capital of the Rajputs. Jaisalmer started as an important caravan center and remnants of caravan-sarais still exist. Arrive and check into hotel.

DAY 10: JAISALMER

After breakfast get ready for the sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer – visit this perfect Rajput walled desert city which is like a golden jewel shimmering above the hard sand. Built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, the Jaisalmer Fort is the second oldest fort of Rajasthan after Chittor. One fourth of the population lives inside the Fort. Visit the palaces, the Jain temples and magnificent Havelis which are quite different to the Shekhavati Havelis – they are very tall to catch the breeze and thick – walled to keep cool, with jali screens. Instead of paintings, their exterior walls have been carved to honeycomb delicacy. Evening enjoy Camel Ride at Sam Sand Dunes for a totally different experience.

DAY 11: JAISALMER – KHIMSAR

Early in the morning, post breakfast drive to Khimsar. Upon arrival check into a hotel. Late afternoon, take drive in the jeep through the desert countryside nestled at the edge of the Indian Thar. Here you can visit the local villages. On your ride, watch wildlife prevailing in this area. As the sun sets, stop for refreshments and admire the spectacular view of the last golden rays shading the sand dunes.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 12: KHIMSAR – JODHPUR – DHAMLI

After breakfast drive towards Jodhpur ( 2 hrs ) Jodhpur stands at the edge of the Thar Desert. The tour includes Meherangarh fort the majestic fort – We then proceed to Meherangarh, the majestic fort which spreads over a 125 m high hill – one of the most impressive & formidable in the whole of fort-studded Rajasthan, after which we visit Jaswant Thada – the Royal Cenotaphs, the Umaid Gardens & Museum. Thereafter continue on drive to Dhamli – a simple Rajput Thikana, now run as an hotel.
Fort Dhamli is off the beaten track and is a place where time seems to have stood still. The hosts here are a very hospitable aristocrat family. Here you Visit a traditional oil mill, and meet local weavers and potters at work. Also a chance to visit the homes of the Raikas – a local tribe.

DAY 13: DHAMLI – RANAKPUR – SARDARGARH

After breakfast drive towards Ranakpur renowned for15th century Jain temples of India delicately carved out of white marble, in the deep secluded valley of the Aravalli Hills. There are 1444 pillars in the temples and none of them similarly carved. In the Afternoon drive towards Fort Sardargarh. Sardargarh Fort – one of the magnificent battle forts of Rajasthan, and is an extravagant creation by men of a bygone era, built amidst the mountains and deep forests of Chuppun. It was built in the period between 1738 to 1743. From a distance the ramparts of this magnificent creation looks like a great ship anchored at outer sea, before getting close to the gigantic walls soaring high above the low lying village of Lawa.

DAY 14: SARDARGARH – UDAIPUR

After breakfast drive to Udaipur (2 hrs.) Udaipur is a serene desert city, built on the banks of Lake Pichola by Maharana Udai Singh in the 16th century. This romantic city, surrounded by high ranges of the Aravallis, over the years, has become a traditional, beautiful and handsome Rajput city of lakes and fountains. Later city tour of Udaipur – the romantic Lake City in Southern Rajasthan, The tour will cover the magnificent City Palace, the Jagdish temple, the pleasure gardens and a drive around the other nearby lakes. Evening enjoy a memorable boatride in Lake Pichola.

DAY 15: UDAIPUR – DUNGERPUR

Today as the day starts and you have had breakfast, drive to Dungarpur. Check-in to your pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon leave to see the Juna Mahal Haveli. The Haveli is an ancient one which looks decrepit from outside but has been well maintained from inside. Later, shop at the local markets. The vibrant and chaotic markets have attractive delights for shoppers.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 16: DUNGERPUR – CHITORGARH – BIJAIPUR

Today your destination is Bijapur. Post breakfast, start your drive. En-route stop at Chittorgarh to visit the largest fort in India. Resume your drive to Bijapur. This city has witnessed several battles between Mughals and Rajputs. Visit the 16th century relics dotted all over the place. Check-in the hotel on arrival.
Dinner and overnight stay is scheduled here.

 

DAY 17: BIJAIPUR – ROOPANGARH

At the beginning of the day, after breakfast commence to Roopangarh. The royal province was founded by Maharaja Roop Singh. Check into the pre-booked hotel on arrival. Rest for a while and then leave at noon to tour the villages. Marvel at the architecture and the hospitable behavior.
Return to the hotel for restful night stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 18: ROOPANGARH – JAIPUR

Early in the morning leave for Jaipur. After your breakfast, commence on your drive. Jaipur is one of the major tourist attractions in India. Popularly known as the Pink City, the capital of Rajasthan is one of the marvelous cities replete with history, heritage and modern delights. Arrive and check-in to the pre-booked hotel. Later, you are taken for shopping at the nearby bazaars. The displays at the markets are simply amazing and you cannot leave empty-handed.
Get back to the hotel for night stay.

 

DAY 19: JAIPUR – DELHI

Early morning, check out from the hotel after having breakfast. Next, drive towards Delhi.
On arrival at Delhi you will be driven to Delhi Airport. Board your flight for the onward destination taking sweet memories along.
